24 September 2006

  • I'm focussing on the Dutch DLRPwiki for now. I created the Crush's Coaster article and am busy rewriting the project and help articles.

23 September 2006

  • My brother got the EasyTimeline extension to work. Unfortunately this extension does not enable the creation of clickable maps as I have hoped but nice graphs and charts and of course timelines can now be made. For now this extension only works on the English DLRPwiki.
  • Enabled anonymous edits on the Dutch wiki to see if more people edit.

  • Enabled anonymous edits on the English wiki to see if more people edit.

  • Installed a cite plugin which enables the citing of sources in articles.

  • Created a favicon (link) which appears next to the URL in the favorites and address bar (not in IE).

August 2006

  • Uploaded aprox. 50 photo's today and yesterday bringing the total to 405 uploaded images.

20 August 2006

  • Today I've been busy correcting the names of the images on the commons. This resulted in a lot or re-uploading.
  • The past few weeks I've been busy writing articles on the English wiki and promoting DLRPwiki by posting it on some forums. The main goal now is to get some volunteers involved.

  • The image description from the commons now also shows on the local image page's (the copyright warning for instance).
  • Improved the language links on the commons to point to the correct Dutch and English articles or categories.

So, I'm back from vacation and I'm planning on working hard on the English DLRPwiki next week. Today I:

  • Created the 'article guideline' article on the English DLRPwiki.
  • Uploaded several logo's.

  • Yesterday I improved the en:Disneyland Resort Paris article to improve the readability and give more information.
  • I removed the 'trailing dot limitation' so now articles and images have the correct names. The following names where changed: Main Street, U.S.A., Disney Clothiers, Ltd., Disney & Co., Main Street Transportation Co.
  • I also renamed the 'Space Mountain: Mission 2' category, the images still have the old 'Space Mountain Mission 2' name because the ":" is not allowed in filenames.
  • I upgraded the wiki's from version 1.6.7 to 1.6.8. Unfortunately, the 1.7 branch can not be installed on my host because it requires PHP 5 and my host runs PHP 4.
  • Also improved the en:Main Street, U.S.A article.

8 July 2006

  • The English wiki opened a few days ago and a few articles have been translated from the Dutch wiki. I also began filling the help and project pages with better texts than the Dutch wiki.
  • I created a DLRPwiki.org overview of the different elements at the wiki: User:GrandiJoos/project_overview
